I was born in Essex, England, in 1951. My early days of work led me to Norway where I met Kari. She moved to England where we married and raised our two daughters. In 1985 we all returned to Norway and have lived here ever since.
My wife and I now live far in the north, well within the arctic circle, in the land of the midnight sun where life is slow and comfortable, and unspoiled nature flourishes in all its magnificent moods.
I am blessed with limitless patience and inexhaustible fantasy, a good combination for writing fiction. During the years I have learnt to recognise what I enjoy in a good book, and I use that experience to create novels pleasing to myself. Being creative in this form gives me immense pleasure, and hopefully, dear reader, you will find my novels equally pleasing.
Take a break from your world; lose yourself in one of mine.
